Kayo Miki

Kayo Miki Born in Hyogo, Japan, Kayo Miki started her first piano studies at the age of 4. A graduate of the Kyoto City University of Arts, she received an Honourable Mention at the 1985 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw and won the bronze medal at the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition two years later. Miki has released several recordings of piano music by Chopin, Ravel, Franck and Bach. She now teaches at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo as an assistant professor.

The artist will perform the following program:
