Krzysztof Jablonski

Krzysztof Jablonski A native of Wroclaw, Poland, Krzysztof Jablonski has been described as “the greatest talent in Polish piano playing since Zimerman.” A third prize winner at the 11th International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, he went on to become the top laureate at several other international piano competitions around the world like: II International Invitational Piano Competition in Palm Beach, USA � First Prize and also Best Chopin Prize (1988),
X International Piano Competition �Rina Sala Gallo� in Monza, Italy � First Prize (1988), GPA International Piano Competition in Dublin, Ireland � Second Prize (1988), VI Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in Tel Aviv, Israel � Gold Medal (1989), I Esther Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary, Canada � Second Prize (1992).

Jablonski has recorded 16 CDs, including two in conjunction with the National Edition of Chopin’s Works, a project directed by Jan Ekier. He currently resides in Calgary after immigrating to Canada in 1998.
